As the GLOW Business Manager this individual will work alongside the Business Management team, cross-functional project teams, and related departments to interpret and articulate Client business and financial requirements into effective Client-related business documents, budgets, and financial reports.  The Business Manager will be primarily responsible for the documentation and financial accuracy of assigned Client-related billable documentation (CBD) such as RFP, RFQs, SOWs, Invoices, etc.  This individual will lead designated audits, provide analytical insight, and assist in the development and management of CBD-related business process improvement solutions.  Overall, the Business Manager will be accountable for all assigned CBD documentation and aggressive CBD-related deadlines while keeping a keen focus on CBD task tracking and GLOW best practices in order to meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.

The GLOW Business Manager must have existing agency or similar corporate experience managing Client-related billable documentation.

Role and Responsibilities

Business Management

  • Client Billable Documents (CBDs) – Responsible for the creation, management, and financial accuracy of assigned CBDs types: Inquiry, Bid, and Contractual (fully-executed documents).  The Business Manager will partner with the GLOW Finance Team, cross-functional project teams and department teams to ensure that all CBD deliverables captured, documented, reconciled, and archived per documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Business Rules (BRs)
  • Requirements Management – Assesses scope and accountable for identifying/documenting all deliverable
  • Financial Management– Accountable for assigned CBD financial budgets and reconciliations
  • Business Requirements Documentation (BRD)– The Business Manager will formalize business requirements (business and technical) using business writing skills, data mapping, and data modeling techniques
  • Business Management Reporting– The Business Manager will generate / publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates
  • Program Audits– As designated, the Business Manager will audit and reconcile program/project deliverables against CBD Contracts.  Where applicable, the Business Manager will provide business process improvement recommendations
  • Business Management Assignments– The Business Manager will manage Client Corporate Document (CCD) requests and ad hoc projects as assigned

Project Management

  • Assignments– Creates + executes assignments and revises priorities as appropriate to meet changing needs

  • Document Management– Ensures project documents are complete, current, and archived appropriately
